Single-phase motor generally refers to the single-phase AC power supply (AC220V) power supply of small-power single-phase asynchronous motor. This type of motor usually has two phases of windings on the stator and the rotor is of ordinary squirrel cage type. The distribution of the two-phase windings on the stator and the different supply conditions can produce different starting and operating characteristics.
